Benji Poffenroth

General Manager

Benji Poffenroth is the General Manager and Team Leader at Montana’s Best. His enthusiasm and zest for life is contagious. He is a seasoned travel veteran who has done everything from living in Austria to working crew on a yacht in the Bahamas. Adventure and creating epic experiences is a part of his DNA, and when it comes to understanding and meeting our guest’s needs he is an expert. For Benji the world is full of friends, and friends he hasn’t met yet. He has been an imperative part of creating the culture and vision unique to Montana’s Best, and we are honored to have him as our torch bearer.

Kate Houlihan


Kate is the voice behind Montana’s Best Vacation Rentals. She has the ability to understand what you need in a vacation and has an intimate knowledge of all of our luxury homes. Experience in luxury Montana hospitality sets Kate apart from her peers. We are convinced that there is no one better at personal customer service!

Local Operations Manager

Rickie is our detail Queen. She makes sure the perfect home is in fact the perfect home when our guests arrive. Don’t let her southern drawl fool you, Rickie has Montana in her heart. When you wake up in your vacation home to a fabulous Montana view and all feels right in the world, it’s Rickie who made that moment possible.

Shannon keeps our company running smoothly and well organized. So much more than a bookkeeper, she brings warmth and caring to our company. If you have a problem that needs solved you can count on Shannon to volunteer to help. As a long time local resident she can recommend activities and events that you won’t find in printed guides.
